Hi Wendi and myMeso AND all your readers.First I want to say God Bless all you miracle people out their who are survivors of Meso/hope, for the rest of us,who need hope.Thank you.
The following are some of the testimony of WR Grace(disGrace)trial that you may find ugly but true.
1.Tests done on Hamsters given Libby Tremolite asbestos,proved/diagnosed with Meso was caused by this asbestos fiber.10 Hamsters died with Meso.These tests were done in the 70s.No warnings.
2.EPA Paul Parnard who came to Libby in 1999 to run the show, had NO experience what so ever with asbestos clean up.When asked if he has read the EPA Asbestos maunual, he said no.So the Judge excused him as a expert witness.Parenard said he is not a scientist even thou his job title says he is.Very unqualified for Libby.
3.WR disGrace chose not to put warning label on their products for fear of loosing money.They allowed this exposure to continue…to this day.
4.Sen.Max Baucus,so called Champion for the people of Libby, has sold his soul to WR Grace/asbestos.Max was responsible/played a major role, for keeping the deadly mine site open in 1990 and selling the site to 3M Corp.And since 1990 and 1999, Max Baucus has continued also, to sell Libby as a safe place to live and raise a family.This is a deadly lie and Max has done NOTHING to stop this deadly exposure.
5.There is a man who has lived in Libby for 5 years and has just been diagnosed with asbestosis.He is now suing WR Grace.Who he NEEDS to sue is all of those who sold him Libby as a safe place to live and raise a family.(note:since 1999 I have told all who will listen to stay away from Libby Mt as Libby is not safe to anything that breathes.The truth.)This is what Max Baucus/Tester/Rehberg/Switzer/EPA/DEQ/OSHA/DOJ/NIOSH/DHHS/…..etc etc should of said in 1999.None of them have saved one soul from this deadly exposure that continues by the lies being told.Many are GUILTY…also.
6.Plural Thickening leads to Meso.Dr.Whitehouse states a Meso epidemic is around the corner(Libby) and will last 10 to 30 years.Whitehouse said we ain’t seen nothin yet.And Dr.Whitehouse has diagnosed 90% of Libby people with Plural Thickening.And Meso is on the rise.All this began in 1963.Only thing good about Meso is you do not suffer for 10 years.6 months if your lucky.I’ll take the 6 months..This 10 years has been a livin hell.Thank God for the things that I have to live for…every breathe.
7.I have missed the trial as I have fell sick.I am told I have Crohn disease on top of diverticulitis and Plural Thickening.Stress triggers alot as it hasn’t been easy to re live all this over and over and over.I believe asbestos causes this also.I know it does cuz alot of people from Libby suffer the same.ALOT…This asbestos fiber does zap your immune system which leaves you open for many other things to go wrong.This is not just a lung disease.
Anyway, I will try and make it tomorrow/Thurs. as I got picket signs made up but weather and my health has slowed things down.We shall see.Take care and Stay away from Libby Mt.God Bless you all.
