Mesothelioma is so much in the news these days that it almost seems like an epidemic. Why has it become so popular all of a sudden? Does anyone have an answer to this question. I am always looking for a good website with solid information on this topice. My best friends dad used to work on the Docks here in San Francisco now he is worried.
  • Hello Mr. Peek,

Thank you so much for your comments. It does seem that mesothelioma is
finally getting more attention in the news, but actually you'd be
surprised that it is not covered as much by the American media as it is
in other countries. I'm not sure why that is, but we're doing our best
to help raise awareness and let people know the dangers of asbestos
exposure. I would recommend that your friend's father talk to his doctor
about his concerns. If he lets his doctor know that he may have been
exposed to asbestos, they can keep an eye out for any early symptoms
that there may be a problem.

Thank you again for your comments. Please let me know if I can help you
    in the future.
