I am in Washington, DC, to attend the 2009 International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma, which is being presented by the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. This morning a group of us will go to Capitol Hill to talk to our legislators about a complete ban on asbestos in the U.S., and funding for mesothelioma reserach and treatment.
