The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (Meso Foundation) 2013 Symposium kicks off Thursday, March 7, in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you can’t attend in person this year, don’t worry! You can attend “virtually” with a live streaming broadcast of the conference!
Most of the presentations by the world’s leading mesothelioma experts will be viewable on your computer, live, FREE of charge. The live stream broadcast begins on Thursday, March 7, at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. It’s an interactive presentation, so viewers can post comments or questions using a chat feature. For instructions, visit the Meso Foundation website at www.curemeso.org/symposium. The live stream is sponsored by the Law Offices of Peter Angelos.
This is the 10th Annual Meso Foundation Symposium. It provides an opportunity for mesothelioma patients, their families and caregivers, as well as other professionals interested in mesothelioma research, to hear from physicians, scientists, advocates and friends in the meso community. It also allows meso warriors to meet each other, share their stories and provide support and comfort. A full conference agenda and list of speakers is available on the conference website.
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. It most often affects the lining of the lungs or the abdomen, but also rarely affects the lining of the heart. There is currently no known cure. The Meso Foundation is the national organization dedicated to finding a cure and eradicating mesothelioma as a life-ending disease by funding mesothelioma research projects around the world; helping mesothelioma patients connect with experts and learn about treatment options; and through advocacy on a national level to secure funding for mesothelioma research.
