ADAO conference 20131 100x100 ADAO Conference underway in DC; live streaming available SaturdayPlease remember the () 9th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference is currently underway in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. More than 30 speakers from seven countries will gather to present the latest information about “The Asbestos Crisis: New Trends in Prevention and Treatment.”

The 2013 ADAO Asbestos Awareness Conference Keynote Speakers are Dr. Aubrey Miller, Senior Medical Advisor and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Liaison to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), who will speak on Saturday, and Karen Banton, widow of the late activist Bernie Banton and CEO of the Bernie Banton Foundation, who will be featured at Sunday’s Unity and Remembrance Brunch.

This year, for the first time, Saturday’s program will be available online via live streaming video. Simply visit the ADAO Conference page for a link to log onto the live streaming program. Opening remarks begin at 8:30 a.m. ET. A full agenda of the day’s speakers and programs is also available online at the ADAO website.
