Whether you’re a sufferer, a family member, or a caregiver, mesothelioma takes its toll on your life and livelihood. That’s why the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (Meso Foundation) will be hosting its in three major cities –  (May 20), San Francisco (Sept. 16) and Chicago (Oct. 7) – in hopes of making an event more easily accessible and affordable to those who most need help, support and educational resources.

From 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.,each one-day event will provide the opportunity to educate anyone affected by mesothelioma – current sufferers, families of mesothelioma patients, and caregivers of sufferers – about the latest developments surrounding the disease. Anyone wishing to learn more about mesothelioma is welcome to attend the conference. Even those unable to attend due to travel expenses are encouraged to seek financial aid through the conference, reiterating the notion that the International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma wants to help anyone interested in attending.

It operates a competitive grant program that awards up to 10 grants, or $10 million, each year to research projects most likely to lead to better treatment.
