Each conference will be a one-day stand-alone event covering topics involving treatment, advances, clinical trials and support with featured speakers who are experts in the field of .

The Symposium is organized by the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, or Meso Foundation, the only nonprofit organization dedicated to ending mesothelioma and the suffering caused by it, by funding research, providing education and support for patients and their families, and by advocating for federal funding of mesothelioma research.

The organization’s annual Symposium is geared toward anyone who has been touched by this dreadful disease, including patients and their families, advocates, medical professionals, and those who have lost loved ones to mesothelioma. The symposium is intended to give everyone in the mesothelioma community the opportunity to come together and take part in both scientific sessions and community conversations.

The Minneapolis conference is scheduled for Friday, June 8, at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis Downtown. The New York City conference is Friday, Oct. 5, at the Marriott New York East Side.
