Thomas D. Griffith filed his complaint July 27 in St. Clair County Circuit Court in Belleville, Illinois. He claims companies like Dow Chemical Company, Crane Company, and several others were negligent in failing to warn people who worked with their products that the products contained a carcinogenic mineral that could make them ill.
