Thomas D. Griffith filed his complaint July 27 in St. Clair County Circuit Court in Belleville, Illinois. He claims companies like Dow Chemical Company, , and several others were negligent in failing to warn people who worked with their products that the products contained a carcinogenic mineral that could make them ill.
